Membership Drive

Thank you for considering Bright Eyes Animal Shleter as your potential place to donate to. As a non-profit 501c3 we rely on people like you to help our furry friends. Your tax deductable donation will go to food, medical care, and a clean welcoming enviroment. We are looking for 100 donors by December 31, 2024.

What we have been able to do this year, Jan -June, we have taken in 19 dogs and 14 cats and adopted out 24 dogs and 15 cats. The dog numbers also reflect dogs that were here before January. We have many fundraising events throughout the year for you to participate in (please see our web site for more infomation brighteyesanimalshelter.org).

Some of what it takes to care of our friends and to run the shelter is; It costs us $100 a day to keep the lights on. $55 a month will feed one dog twice a day and we regularly have 10-12 dogs. For one cat it’s $35 a month and we have generally 10 cats. To spay a cat is $98, neuter is $60 and for a dog a spay is $140, neuter is $105. As you can see your suport is vital to meeting the needs of these animals before they go to their furever homes.
